Analytics Training - Google Analytics Pre-K Class

So often we hear, “We have Google Analytics installed on our site, we look at the dashboards and all those tons of available reports, but we really don’t know what to do with it all!” In short, everyone seems to know Google Analytics is a tool that can help you learn where your website visitors are coming from and how they interact with your site. More importantly, that you can use this knowledge to improve your site’s performance and overall user experience. The challenge, however, appears to lie in users obtaining the basic knowledge and confidence to begin a regular, elementary visitor and site analysis program.

Every Journey Begins with a Single Step

Our Google Analytics Pre-K Class is not a seminar; it’s a hands-on, 3-hour session where attendees use their own Google Analytics account and their own data, completing very basic procedures under the direction of an experienced analytics practitioner. Our experience is that this format is the most effective for becoming comfortable with and learning the basics of the system, as well as knowledge retention. The instructor presents material using PowerPoint and handouts, engaging students with fundamental theory, practical examples and demonstrations to reinforce key, basic concepts and procedures.

Who should attend?

Gone are the days when websites were just for the techies and analytics tools were created to measure the technical performance of a site. Nowadays, business owners, online marketers, web executives, agency account managers/directors, and campaign managers need to comprehend their analytics reports - understand how users are interacting with their sites and how their web marketing efforts are performing. But more importantly, they need to know how to interpret the data and apply the knowledge collected. We'll show you how.

How Will You Benefit?

As a business owner or marketer, you need to be informed of what is happening on your website. No Possum’s Google Analytics Pre-K Class provides an ideal opportunity to familiarize yourself with the basics of web analytics in general (Google Analytics in particular), how to effectively mine the data for key metrics, how to compile and massage the information for analysis, as well as how to interpret and translate your analysis into actionable business intelligence.

What Can I Expect?

Through actual real-life examples and case studies, this ultra-beginner course shows you how seemingly small, limited trackings and analyses can have a massive effect on the way you view your website and how you can improve your bottom line. With our small group setting among others with comparable basic-level experience, live hands-on instruction with an experienced analytics practitioner, as well as plenty of take-home information and resource materials, you’ll leave with the confidence and know-how to start your own visitor and site analysis program.
