Our web analytics consulting firm was founded by Matt Williams. Matt has nearly 20 years' experience with leading marcom agencies, national media and national research companies. Matt’s professional career includes stints at Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., Market Strategies, Inc., and both Paramount and Warner Bros. in Los Angeles. He has owned businesses previously - at one, he won the National Customer Service award two years in a row.
Most recently, Matt spent nearly five years with Prominent Placement, an Atlanta search engine marketing firm founded in 2001 by his wife, Stacy Williams. Among his many roles at Prominent Placement, one of Matt’s chief responsibilities included development and implementation of proprietary website data analysis and reporting systems for Prominent Placement clients. Due in large part to its ability to document results, the firm’s efforts are continually recognized for their success, receiving numerous awards from the American Marketing Association, the Business Marketing Association, the Public Relations Society of American and the Technology Association of Georgia.
Matt is a national speaker on the topic of website analytics, having presented at several Search Engine Strategies conferences, including Search Engine Strategies Latino, and he is also published frequently on the topic. Matt earned an M.A. in Communications Management from the University of Southern California's Annenberg School and a B.S. in Communication from Florida State University.
